Social Share Privacy add-on enables your Xenforo web site to load the icons for social sharing web sites including the share counts from your local server.

This offers 2 advantages:

Due to the fact your visitors won't have to wait until code from external web sites has been loaded, the response of your web site will be much speedier and the load time of all your web pages will improve significantly.

2) Greatly improves the privacy of all your web site visitors data
If you open a web page containing buttons from services like Facebook, Twitter & Co., your visit will be tracked by them even if you don't click the button. If you are logged in at Facebook, that tracking information will even be linked to your real identity. Because almost all web sites contain such social share buttons, those networks are able to track you down over all web sites and to build complete browser histories of all their users.

If you load up your site with the original sharing buttons you’re — unwittingly perhaps — enabling those companies to track your visitors and also the general usage of your web site, even if your users don't use the buttons or even the social networks. You as a web site owner should act responsible and protect your visitors from it.

This add-on protects the privacy of your web site and your users by loading these buttons and share counts locally.

The buttons are very beautiful, flexible and super responsive! They look perfect no matter which browsing device the visitor uses.

There are many options for this add-on, including a selection of several themes (standard, grey and white), the exclusion of nodes where you do not want to display buttons, the ability to disable the display and caching of share counts, how often the share counts should be updated, several locations to choose from (also a custom location to be placed anywhere you like) and the selection of social networks to have buttons shown.

The following add-ons are known to be supported by this add-ons by default:
XenForo, XenForo Resource Manager, XenForo Media Gallery, sonnb XenXallery, Showcase, [bd] Widget Framework, CTA Featured Threads, XenMIG portal, XenZine Articles and all other add-ons using the default XenForo routines for their sharing buttons.

This add-on is based at code named "Shariff" created by Heise.de and used with permission.

Current Compatibility/Requirements:
This add-on is compatible with Xenforo 1.2.x (tested with XenForo 1.2.5) and XenForo 1.3.x (tested with XenForo 1.3.1), XenForo 1.4 (tested with 1.4.10) and XenForo 1.5 (tested with XenForo 1.5.21).
Sorry, this add-on cannot be installed at Xenforo 1.1.x or smaller.
This add-on needs PHP 5.6 to be able to be installed.

Available Options For Admin in Xenforo ACP:
In ACP under "Home > Options > [WMTech] - Social Share Privacy" you'll find:

• Style For Share Buttons - (standard, grey, white)
• Exclude Nodes - (no display of any share buttons)
• Disable Font Awesome Call? - If you already have FA loaded at your web site
• Disable Counts? - To disable the display of share counts on the buttons
• Counts Cache TTL (sec) - How often the counts cache will be updated
• BETA: Enable Memcached Cache Handling - Enables the Memcached cache option
• Enabled Locations - 7 locations to choose from, even a custom location
• Disable Default Buttons? - Disable XenForo default buttons globally
• Horizontal Placement in Sidebar? - Activate horizontal buttons in sidebar
• Enabled Services - currently 11 social sharing services to choose from Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Xing, Reddit, AddThis, WhatsApp, Mail, Info
• Link to Information Page - The url your info page links to (if you like to display the "Info" button)
